Kidwell Named New CEO of Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital
Daniel Kidwell has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital.
Bringing more than 32 years of healthcare experience to his role, Kidwell has served in clinical and operational positions within academic, community, and faith-based systems. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to patient-centered, quality care, consistently delivering measurable results in both patient outcomes and organizational growth. Kidwell’s background includes leading multiple strategic service lines and institutes, spearheading innovation, and forming high-performing teams in complex, matrixed healthcare environments.
Prior to joining Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, Kidwell served as executive director of one of the largest and most comprehensive neuroscience programs in the United States. He has received national recognition for leadership and hospital-based clinical quality, has contributed to several publications, and holds two independent patents for medical devices.

Kidwell is a 14-year veteran of the United States Army. He earned both a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) with a specialty in healthcare administration and a bachelor’s degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind. He is an Advisory Board member, medical device consultant, and speakers bureau member for several global healthcare companies.
