Lexington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital Begins Offering Outpatient Services
Lexington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital has begun offering specialized outpatient rehabilitative services to individuals recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions. The services are available to those who don’t require inpatient care, but still need medical support to maximize their recoveries.
“Our outpatient services are designed to help individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life while maintaining their daily routines at home,” says Lisa McKinney, Director of Therapy Operations.
At the hospital, outpatient services include;
- Comprehensive care provided by an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and other medical experts.
- Personalized treatment plans created with patients and their families to target specific needs and goals.
- One-on-one sessions to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Access the latest rehabilitative technology and equipment.
- State-of-the-art therapy facility including a 3,646-square-foot therapy gym, outdoor therapeutic courtyard, and daily living and transitional suites that emulate home conditions.
“The diverse environments allow for effective treatments to set the patient up for success,” McKinney says. “Our goal is to help patients continue to regain independence, confidence, and productivity so they can safely return to the activities that they enjoy.”
