Fantelli Named Chief Executive Officer of Summa Rehab Hospital

Nicole Fantelli has been named Chief Executive Officer of Summa Rehab Hospital in Akron, Ohio, a medical rehabilitation hospital that provides specialized care to individuals recovering from disabling injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

A registered nurse, Fantelli brings 16 years of healthcare experience to her role, including business development, sales management, utilization review, and operational performance. Recently, she served as regional vice president of business development for a national post-acute care provider. She also has held key leadership roles with Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospitals, where she led cross-functional teams, streamlined market strategies, and exceeded growth targets across three campuses.

Fantelli earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and a master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University. She also holds the Nurse Executive Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Medical Rehabilitation Management Certification from the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association.
