Dinkel Named Chief Operating Officer of Utah Valley Specialty Hospital

Bradley Dinkel has been named Chief Operating Officer of Utah Valley Specialty Hospital, a long-term acute care facility specializing in critical care for patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries.

A registered nurse, Dinkel brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to his new role. Recently, he served as Vice President of Clinical Quality for 10 assisted living facilities throughout Utah. In that position, he worked closely with senior executives and owners to implement best practices, improve patient care, and foster a culture of continuous improvement that enhanced outcomes and financial performance. In addition, Dinkel has held leadership roles within a surgery center and two large healthcare organizations where he was responsible for directing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing financial performance.

“Bradley’s extensive background in both operational leadership and clinical management will be instrumental to Utah Valley Specialty Hospital,” says Reuben Jessop, Ernest Health’s Market CEO of Utah. “His commitment to quality, patient safety, and staff engagement will help strengthen the hospital’s ability to provide exceptional long-term critical care to the community.”

Dinkel earned a master’s degree in business administration from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho, and an associate’s degree in nursing from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y.
