Christina Masters Named CEO of Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern New Mexico & Advanced Care Hospital of Southern New Mexico

Christina Masters has been named Chief Executive Officer of Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern New Mexico (RHSNM) and Advanced Care Hospital of Southern New Mexico (ACHSNM).

In this role, Masters will provide executive oversight to the dual-campus specialty hospitals, leading strategic planning, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and organizational culture while driving quality and growth initiatives.

Masters brings nearly two decades of progressive healthcare experience to the position, including clinical expertise and operational leadership. She most recently served as Chief Operations Officer for RHSNM and ACHSNM, directing daily operations across both facilities and overseeing quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, financial performance, and organizational safety.

Prior to that, she served as Chief Nursing Officer for the hospitals, overseeing their nursing, respiratory therapy, and dietary departments, strengthening physician collaboration, and implementing educational programs and performance initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

A registered nurse, Masters began her career at RHSNM as a staff RN and PICC RN. She later served as the hospital’s Nursing House Supervisor. She also served as a Physician Contracting & Credentialing Specialist before her career at RHSNM.

Masters earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a bachelor’s degree in education from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) and serves on numerous professional and community organizations.
