Hall Selected as Vice President of Construction for Ernest Health

Ernest Health has announced that Nicholas Hall has been selected as the organization’s Vice President of Construction.

In this role, Hall leads the planning, development, and execution of construction projects across Ernest Health’s national portfolio. Working closely with hospital leadership and project partners, he oversees the delivery of new hospitals, expansions, renovations, and other capital projects that support the organization’s continued growth.

“Nick brings exceptional experience in healthcare construction and project leadership to Ernest Health,” says Jake Socha, President and CEO of Ernest Health. “His engineering expertise, strategic perspective, and collaborative approach will be instrumental as we continue expanding access to high-quality rehabilitative care across the country.”

Hall has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare facility planning, design, construction, and facilities management. Prior to joining Ernest Health, he served as Deputy Director of Lease Delivery for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where he led a nationwide engineering team responsible for delivering outpatient clinics and healthcare centers for veterans across the country. Prior to that, he held several engineering and construction leadership positions within the Department of Veterans Affairs, overseeing design and construction of outpatient clinics and healthcare facilities throughout the Southeast. He also served with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Army Installation Management Command, managing military construction and infrastructure projects.

“I look forward to contributing to the Ernest Health team,” Hall says. “I believe the best projects are built through listening, collaboration, and doing what’s right, not simply what is the easiest. Every facility we build is an opportunity to improve the lives of patients, caregivers, and the communities we serve.”

Hall earned a master’s degree in building construction and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala. He is a licensed professional engineer and certified construction manager.
