Claudia Saiz, RN, BSN
VP, Marketing and Business Development
With more than 25 years of experience in direct patient care and healthcare leadership, Claudia helps to lead Ernest Health’s strategic sales and marketing efforts, fostering growth across the organization’s medical rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospitals.
Claudia began her career as a registered nurse in critical care, and has held numerous positions in long-term acute and rehabilitative care, including clinical liaison, marketing director, and chief executive officer. She joined Ernest Health in 2008.
Being a clinician is my passion, and exceptional patient care is my purpose.
Claudia earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from New Mexico State University and an associate’s degree in nursing from Dona Ana Community College, both located in Las Cruces, N.M. She is fluent in Spanish and maintains an active RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
When not working, Claudia enjoys spending time with her husband and nine nieces and nephews. She also likes traveling, sports, and outdoor activities.

Ernest Health’s rehabilitation hospitals have been ranked by Netsmart Technologies, Inc., the administrator of the world’s largest database for rehabilitation outcomes. Netsmart uses a program evaluation model (PEM) to determine the rankings, which includes a case-mix and severity-adjusted tool, providing facilities with a composite performance score and percentile ranking drawn from more than 80 percent of inpatient rehabilitation facilities in the country. Each hospital follows a patient-centric model, incorporating advanced rehabilitation techniques and technology to achieve clinical outcomes that exceed industry standards.
