Field Finance Chief Financial Officer
Crystal joined Ernest Health in 2006 and has more than 17 years of experience in post-acute care financial operations. She oversees all Ernest Health’s field finance operations including daily revenue recognition, expense management, monthly close processes, and annual hospital operational budgets.
Crystal earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
I enjoy the healthcare field because it is a helping and healing environment. Ernest Health has shown me that compassionate care and patient outcomes can drive positive financial outcomes.
Outside of work, Crystal can be found spending time with her husband, watching her three children play sports, and participating in school events.

Ernest Health’s rehabilitation hospitals have been ranked by Netsmart Technologies, Inc., the administrator of the world’s largest database for rehabilitation outcomes. Netsmart uses a program evaluation model (PEM) to determine the rankings, which includes a case-mix and severity-adjusted tool, providing facilities with a composite performance score and percentile ranking drawn from more than 80 percent of inpatient rehabilitation facilities in the country. Each hospital follows a patient-centric model, incorporating advanced rehabilitation techniques and technology to achieve clinical outcomes that exceed industry standards.
