Robin Saxon, JD
Chief Strategy and Development Officer
Robin leads Ernest Health’s enterprise-wide growth and development strategy, overseeing hospital development, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, market expansion initiatives, and healthcare real estate strategy. She is responsible for helping to drive the organization’s multi-year expansion plans as Ernest Health continues to grow its national footprint in inpatient rehabilitation.
With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare development, Robin has real estate strategy, business development, and executive leadership expertise, having worked with healthcare systems throughout the nation.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, and her bachelor’s degree in English and political science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla. She is also a Master of Health Administration candidate at Louisiana State University and completed the Harvard School of Negotiation & Mediation Program.

When not focused on work, Robin enjoys pursuing longtime interests in fly fishing and golf. She is the proud mother of college-aged twin daughters

Ernest Health’s rehabilitation hospitals have been ranked by the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR), a non-for-profit corporation that was developed with support from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation research, a component of the U.S. Department of Education. It ranks rehabilitation facilities based upon care that is patient-centered, effective, efficient, and timely.
Through UDSMR, our hospitals collaborate with our peers throughout the United States to share information and establish best practices for patients. This helps us elevate rehabilitative care for everyone across the United States.
