VP, Revenue Cycle Operations

Carolyn joined Ernest Health in 2023 and has more than 20 years of experience leading revenue cycle operations for numerous healthcare organizations within the post-acute continuum of care. She also has spent a portion of her career in the post-acute payer space.

Carolyn oversees Ernest Health’s Central Business Office and is primarily responsible for the optimization of revenue cycle operations systemwide, ensuring financial and operational goals are met in a cost-effective, efficient manner.

I’m passionate about supporting our hospitals through a high-performing revenue cycle, driving results that help our hospitals provide high-quality care in every community we serve.

Together with her husband, five children, and two Golden Retrievers, Carolyn enjoys traveling and watching football. Her favorite hobbies are archery and fishing.

Ernest Health’s rehabilitation hospitals have been ranked by the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR), a non-for-profit corporation that was developed with support from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation research, a component of the U.S. Department of Education. It ranks rehabilitation facilities based upon care that is patient-centered, effective, efficient, and timely.

Through UDSMR, our hospitals collaborate with our peers throughout the United States to share information and establish best practices for patients. This helps us elevate rehabilitative care for everyone across the United States.
