Cindy Tew, RN, CRRN, MSN

Cindy joined Ernest Health in 2007 as a clinical nurse specialist. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare leadership, she currently oversees Ernest Health’s nursing departments, food services, program development for wound programs, and disease-specific certifications.
Cindy is an active member of the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel and is the provider liaison to the board. She also is a national speaker for the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and the National Association of Long-Term Hospitals.
One of Cindy’s favorite quotes is from Florence Nightengale, “Let us never consider ourselves finished nurses. We must be learning all of our lives.”
Cindy earned a master’s degree in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
When not working, you can often find Cindy by the water at a lake in Michigan or at a beach in Southern California, where she spends her time between her two sons and their families.

Ernest Health’s rehabilitation hospitals have been ranked by the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR), a non-for-profit corporation that was developed with support from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation research, a component of the U.S. Department of Education. It ranks rehabilitation facilities based upon care that is patient-centered, effective, efficient, and timely.
Through UDSMR, our hospitals collaborate with our peers throughout the United States to share information and establish best practices for patients. This helps us elevate rehabilitative care for everyone across the United States.
