Sabrina Martin, MPT

Regional VP, Operations

A licensed physical therapist, Sabrina earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Texas in El Paso and a bachelor’s degree in biology from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She started her career as a physical therapist in an acute care setting, but has dedicated the majority of it to patient care and clinical leadership positions within Ernest Health, which she joined in 2004.

As the Regional Vice President of Operations, Sabrina supports the general operations and leadership teams of eight medical rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospitals throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. She ensures each has the tools, education, and best practices to support their teams in providing world-class care in a safe and effective manner.

I’m a clinician first. My passion is at the bedside and leading by always doing what is best for the patient.

Sabrina and her husband, Patrick, have two active and entertaining boys and two loyal rescue dogs. When not working, Sabrina is 100 percent a boy-mom supporting various sporting activities, hunting, and camping. She enjoys experiencing the great outdoors.

Ernest Health’s rehabilitation hospitals have been ranked by the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR), a non-for-profit corporation that was developed with support from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation research, a component of the U.S. Department of Education. It ranks rehabilitation facilities based upon care that is patient-centered, effective, efficient, and timely.

Through UDSMR, our hospitals collaborate with our peers throughout the United States to share information and establish best practices for patients. This helps us elevate rehabilitative care for everyone across the United States.
